Sometimes it's because the creators want another chance to do things better (ahem, Percy Jackson) or sometimes it's because we want to return to those uncomplicated times and feelings we had as children when the original released (Jumanji, maybe? Anyone?). But regardless of the reasoning, the fact is that we are more obsessed than ever with bringing back our favorite stories.
